The truth about learning to read is not clear and we do not have one definitive answer. After all we are all individuals. Even though this is really only one small thing we need to be able to read to survive in this world. But we seem to have forgotten that we are still and always have been individuals with our own set of DNA, personalities and social standing, together with our own unique ways of gathering information and relating. This a complex puzzle that still has a long way to go before scientists and the experts can agree on one perfect answer or solution.

The one thing that I do know for sure is that if you can’t read it will affect your ability to learn. For me the way I felt about school was basically how well I did. I felt bad and I did badly.
